
9th Grade Orientation will be held on August 7th at 5:00 pm. It will begin in the Performing Arts Center. All incoming Freshmen and their parents are invited and encouraged to attend! 10th-12th Grade Open House will be held on August 9th at 5:00 pm. It will be in the High School main building. Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors And their parents are welcomed! We look forward to seeing everyone and getting ready for a great school year!  

The High School main building will be closed until next Monday, July 9th. This is due to a floor renovation project. It will reopen July 9th at 8:30 am. Thank you

Summer School will begin at the High School on Tuesday, June 5th, at 7:30am. Registration is at the front entrance by the office. 

ACT Bootcamp will be available for high school students on June 6th and 7th. It will be hosted by ASU Jonesboro personnel and Amanda Brogdon. Student cost is $50.00. Information sheets and sign up form are in the High School office.

Summer School for credit recovery will be available to High School students from June 5th-June 29th. Morning and afternoon sessions are available. Information forms and the sign up sheet are in the High School office. Parents, if your student failed a class this year, please consider sending them to Summer School. Thank you- Marc Griffin 

Parents and students, please be reminded that the dress code is still in effect at the High School. I know the weather is warming up, but short shorts and tank tops are still prohibited. All Juniors and Seniors who attend After Prom and stay the whole time will be excused from school all day on Monday, April 23rd. All Juniors and Seniors are excused from school all day on Tuesday, April 24th and Wednesday, April 25th due to underclassmen participation in ACT Aspire testing. After Prom for Juniors and Seniors will take place on Sunday morning, 4/22/18 in the New Gym. You DO NOT have to go to prom to attend After Prom! Doors open at 12:30am and no one will be admitted after 1:00am. Wear comfy clothes and be prepared to have a blast! We have an inflatable slide, an obstacle course, 9 square, ping pong, a hypnotist and a photo booth. Tons of awesome prizes will be given away including: a Yeti cooler, TV, microwave, Fit Bit, Go Pro, ipad, jewelry and wakeboard.  Hope you can come! Sincerely, The Junior Class

Juniors will take the AR Civics Exam on Tuesday, April 10th, and freshmen will take the exam on Wednesday, April 11th during 2nd & 3rd periods.  Info has been mailed to each student taking the exam.

The High School will be hosting the Supreme Court of Arkansas for a live hearing of a case on Thursday, April 5th, from 10:00-11:50. All High School students who are on campus at this time are required to attend this event. Once students are in the auditorium for the proceedings, checkouts cannot be allowed. Therefore, if you need to check out your student between 10:00 and 11:50, please call the High School Office and let the front desk know your student will need to wait in the office for you to arrive. Due to security reasons, no electronic devices or bags/backpacks will be allowed into the auditorium.
